9 Former Churchyard Cottages viewed South from the Church. In spite of the description on this old picture these cottages adjoining St Mary's Churchyard were never formally endowed as almshouses although they did serve a similar purpose. The cottage on the far right hand end was the old school room. Demolished 1892.
